Marianne Sung

Artist member since 2021
Pro
Toronto, Ontario

Marianne Sung is a contemporary and abstract Korean-Canadian artist. With endless painterly shapes and colours, Marianne's art is meant to spark feelings of magic, warmth and nostalgia. Her works are expressive through the application of thin layers of acrylics as well as through the use of mixed media. She is inspired by places, things and events in her current home of Ontario, her upbringing in Quebec and from her travels worldwide.

Originally from Montreal, Marianne graduated McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce and is now based in Toronto. In 2021 her works were shown in the juried exhibits, "Big, Bold, Risk" and "Opening Doors" at the Leslie Grove Gallery and "Papier" at Esperanto Gallery in Toronto, Canada.
